We provide skilled personnel, proven technologies and all required equipment and chemicals to eliminate process inefficiencies such as “bottlenecks”. Examples of common “on line” solutions performed by Delta Tech are:

• Metered condensate and chemical injections to remove water soluble salts and non-water soluble deposits in fin fans – Extra volumes of metered condensate with chemical is added to increase effectiveness in some cases.   In other cases, the condensate is supplied while the refinery's water injection equipment is being repaired.
  
  
• Metered chemical injections for pilot projects – Delta Tech supplies injection equipment to introduce new process chemicals for on line injections. Often the pilot project works so well that a refinery may engineer and install permanent systems to simulate out application.
  
  
• Injection of chemicals to adjust pH in crude oil transfer – Our process injects caustic and/or other types of H 2 S scavengers into crude oil prior to ship or tank transfer. During the transfer we add metered amounts of chemicals to control the H 2 S in vapor spaces thus creating a safer work environment. This process is often used for re-circulated tanks as well.
  
  
• On-line cleaning of cooling water sides – This is commonly done by adding corrosion inhibited acid or other less corrosive chemicals to a cooling water supply to promote efficient heat transfer.
  
  
• Hydrogen peroxide injection into piping systems – This process increases available oxygen and reaction with COD and BOD materials. It is also beneficial in controlling odor.
